June Stonefly Montana, 2025 

Rock Creek, Clark Fork, Bitterroot, Blackfoot Rivers, and Georgetown Lake.

June 15th to 21st, 2025

Cost is $4,400.00 pp 

5 days of drift boat fishing. Your host will be Bill Nolan.

We will be lodging in  Missoula. We will drift boat fish the 5 days, or go fish Georgetown Lake for big Rainbows. You will get to drift Rock Creek, a special treat, special permits are required and limit boat traffic. Some of the best stonefly trout fishing in North America. First rate guides, lodging and most meals (go out to a steak house, and a micro-brewery). The weather this time of year is perfect, highs in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s.

Agenda

  • Sunday June 15th, Fly into Missoula, drive to lodging in. Check in to Air BnB, have a relaxing dinner. Do a little sightseeing.

  • Monday to Friday; Drift boat fish one of the great rivers of Missoula.

  • Saturday June 21st, fly home from Missoula. 

Included; Ground transportation, 5 days of guided fishing, most meals (two dinners out), flies, rod if needed, lodging with your own bedroom. WIFI. Laundry faculties.

We will be lodging in Great Falls for 3 nights on the Missouri River, and 4 nights in Missoula. We will drift boat fish the Missouri River 2 days and drift in the Missoula area (Clark Fork, Bitterroot, Blackfoot) for 3 days. Some of the best hopper-dropper trout fishing in North America. First rate guides, lodging and meals. The weather this time of year is perfect, highs in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s. This is the best time of year because the kids are back to school and the fishing pressure is low.

Your day will start with a good breakfast. We will meet up with the guides at 8:00 am depending on the conditions. You will get back to the lodging between 5 and 6 pm. Enjoy a relaxing dinner. You can wade fish the Missouri while dinner is being prepared, or after dinner. Streamside lunch will be provided by the guides.

  • Day 1; Fly into Missoula. Rick will be waiting curbside. Drive to Great Falls (2 1/2 hours) and check into lodging on the Missouri River, walk out and fish while dinner is being prepared.

  • Day 2 and 3; Drift boat fish on the Missouri River, Hoppers, Droppers, and big fish. Wade fish after dinner.

  • Day 4; Drive to Missoula (2 1/2 hours), check into lodging, sightsee in town. Montana steak dinner.

  • Day 5, 6, and 7; Drift boat fish on the Clark Fork, Bitterroot, or Blackfoot Rivers.

  • Day 8: Fly home from Missoula. 

Rick will cook dinner most of the nights. We will visit a micro-brewery and steak house in Missoula.

Colorado’s Gunnison River Overnight Camping Trip, 2025

June 16th to 22nd, 2025

Estimated Cost is $4,800.00 pp trips a year away to finalize price.

4 days of drift boat fishing on the Arkansas and Gunnison Rivers. One day of camping on the Gunnison River. One day of wade fishing. Lodging, ground transportation, and most meals.

Agenda

  • Day 1: Fly into Montrose Colorado. Check into lodging.

  • Day 2: Drift the Gunnison River, camp out along the river.  

  • Day 3: Drift the Gunnison River. Back to your rooms and have a nice dinner.

  • Day 4: Travel day, wade fish on your way to next lodging spot. Laundry facilities in the Air BnB, you can pack light.

  • Day 5th and 6th: Drift boat fish the Arkansas, Eagle or Colorado Rivers, guides choose what is fishing best.

  • Day 7: fly home from Denver Colorado. 

Not included; airfare, dinners in restaurants, Utah license and tips for the guides.

Included: ground transportation, 5 days of guided drift boat fishing (one wade fishing day, unguided). Some meals, and lodging.

Utah’s Green River Overnight Camping Trips, 2025

July 13th to 20th, 2025 

Cost is $5,270.00 pp

3 days of drift boat fishing on the Green River, camping one night on the river. Two days of wade fishing on the Provo, Weber Rivers, or spring creek fishing. 5 days of guided fishing. Lodging, ground transportation, and breakfast, lunch, and some dinners provided.

  • Day 1: Fly into Salt lake City. Drive to Flaming Gorge (2 1/2 hours) and check into lodging.

  • Day 2: Drift the Green River. Eat at restaurant.

  • Day 3rd and 4th: Float the Green River. Camping on the river with all food and gear provided.

  • Day 5: Drive to Park City (2 1/2 hours), check into lodging, sightsee in town. Rick will make a seafood dinner. 

  • Day 6th and 7th: Wade fish with guides. on the Provo, Weber or Remote Spring Creeks, we have options.

  • Day 8th: fly home from Salt Lake City.

Day One: Arrive Houston/Austin/Corpus Christi, arrive Bay Flats Lodge (after 4pm)

Day 2 to 4: 10th – 13th: 4 days guided fishing

Day 5: Depart Bay Flats Lodge, Arrive Houston/Austin/Corpus Christi

Bay Flats Lodge fills a great many important niches in the American market. First off, it is a shallow saltwater sight-fishing venue where guest can cast to tailing redfish from the bow of flats skiffs under the watchful eyes of professional guides. Second, it offers very nice accommodations and meals. And third, it is easy to reach, reasonably priced and stays of varying length are welcomed. Bay Flats Lodge is located in the middle of the Texas coast near San Antonio Bay where they access over 30 miles of pristine largely undeveloped flats, shorelines, sloughs and back lakes surrounding Matagorda Island and the Guadalupe River Delta. For saltwater anglers of all skill levels this is a wonderful venue to practice your craft, improve your skills and experience a unique and productive saltwater ecosystem.

Sight cast to schools of tailing redfish in ankle-deep, gin-clear water. Experience excellent accommodations and cuisine. Explore pristine Matagorda Island as you stalk redfish along 38 miles of uninhabited shorelines teaming with birds and wildlife. Cast from the bow of deluxe technical poling skiffs with experienced guides. Discover a uniquely diverse fishery located along the middle coast of Texas.

Included: Accommodations, meals and beverages, guided fishing, all fishing tackle, waders and boots, Texas hotel tax, equipment and flies

Not Included: Airfare, transfers (car rental cost split among anglers), alcohol, staff and fishing guide gratuities, fishing license.

Pre-dinner appetizers are served at 5:30 PM at the outdoor kitchen. Dinner follows at 6:30 PM each evening with a four-course meal, accompanied by a complimentary bottle of wine, in the upstairs dining room of the Main Lodge. A hot, sit down breakfast is served each morning in the upstairs dining room of the Main Lodge. Full boat lunch consisting of sandwiches, chips, cookies, soft drinks, and purified water are served on the water.

Typical room accommodations consist of two queen beds per room, with sometimes 1-2 rooms per suite. Single-occupancy is available upon request as an upcharge to our standard nightly rate. The lodge has a number of freestanding accommodations buildings with various room configurations.
