Cost range is $4,000.00 pp to $5,000.00 pp depending on the trip. Overnight camping (Colorado, Utah) trips will be closer to $5,000.00 pp. 

Details and pricing is being firmed up. Outfitters/Drift Boats have been booked on dates stated below.

Airfare, some meals, tips for the guides are not included. Add $1,500.00 to the base fee for a good “total amount” estimate.

Book early, our trips fill up fast. It is a “first-come, first-served” booking method.

Some Clark Fork fish caught on our last trip in June. We will be lodging in  Missoula. We will drift boat fish the 5 days or go fish Georgetown Lake for big Rainbows. Some of the best stonefly trout fishing in North America. First rate guides, lodging and meals. The weather this time of year is perfect, highs in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s.

We will be lodging in Great Falls for 3 nights in a hotel, and Missoula for 4 nights in an Air BnB. We will drift boat fish the Missouri River 2 days and drift in the Missoula area (Clark Fork, Bitterroot, Blackfoot) for 3 days. Some of the best hopper-dropper trout fishing in North America. First rate guides, lodging and meals. The weather this time of year is perfect, highs in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s

  • Day One; fly into Missoula. Rick will be waiting curbside. Drive to Great Falls (2 1/2 hours) and check into lodging.

  • Day two and three; Drift boat fish on the Missouri River, Hoppers and Trico fishing.

  • Day four; Drive to Missoula (2 1/2 hours), check into lodging, sightsee in town. Rick will make a seafood dinner. 

  • Day five, sixth, and seventh; Drift boat fish on the Clark Fork, Bitterroot or Blackfoot Rivers. Rick will cook dinner two of the nights. We will visit a micro-brewery one of the nights. The guides will pick us up and drop us off at our lodging.

  • Day 8th: fly home from Missoula.

  • Day 2; Drift the Green River. Eat at restaurants.

  • Day 3 and 4; Float the Green River. Camping on the river with all food and gear provided.

  • Day 5; Drive to Park City (2 1/2 hours), check into lodging, sightsee in town. Rick will make a seafood dinner. 

  • Day 6 and 7th; Wade fish with guides. on the Provo, Weber or Remote Spring Creeks, we have options.

  • Day 8th: fly home from Salt Lake City..

Bay Flats Lodge fills a great many important niches in the American market. First off, it is a shallow saltwater sight-fishing venue where guest can cast to tailing redfish from the bow of flats skiffs under the watchful eyes of professional guides. Second, it offers very nice accommodations and meals. And third, it is easy to reach, reasonably priced and stays of varying length are welcomed. Bay Flats Lodge is located in the middle of the Texas coast near San Antonio Bay where they access over 30 miles of pristine largely undeveloped flats, shorelines, sloughs and back lakes surrounding Matagorda Island and the Guadalupe River Delta. For saltwater anglers of all skill levels this is a wonderful venue to practice your craft, improve your skills and experience a unique and productive saltwater ecosystem.

Sight cast to schools of tailing redfish in ankle-deep, gin-clear water. Experience excellent accommodations and cuisine. Explore pristine Matagorda Island as you stalk redfish along 38 miles of uninhabited shorelines teaming with birds and wildlife. Cast from the bow of deluxe technical poling skiffs with experienced guides. Discover a uniquely diverse fishery located along the middle coast of Texas.

Pre-dinner appetizers are served at 5:30 PM at the outdoor kitchen. Dinner follows at 6:30 PM each evening with a four-course meal, accompanied by a complimentary bottle of wine, in the upstairs dining room of the Main Lodge. A hot, sit down breakfast is served each morning in the upstairs dining room of the Main Lodge. Full boat lunch consisting of sandwiches, chips, cookies, soft drinks, and purified water are served on the water.

Typical room accommodations consist of two queen beds per room, with sometimes 1-2 rooms per suite. Single-occupancy is available upon request as an upcharge to our standard nightly rate. The lodge has a number of freestanding accommodations buildings with various room configurations.
